1. Service Description

TaskWarrior Sync provides synchronization services for TaskWarrior task management software. We offer a pay-per-sync model where users purchase credits to sync their task data across devices.

2. Credit Expiration

Important: Credits will expire after 30 days of account inactivity. An account is considered inactive if no sync operations have been performed for 30 consecutive days. Once credits expire, they cannot be recovered or refunded.

3. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but make no guarantees about uptime or continuous service. The service may experience interruptions, maintenance periods, or unexpected downtime. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from service unavailability.

4. Data Storage and Backup

User Responsibility: While we provide sync services, we strongly encourage all users to maintain local backups of their task data. We make no promises about the reliability of storing tasks with our service as your primary backup solution.

Our service may experience technical issues that could unintentionally result in data loss. While we will do our best to prevent such occurrences, we cannot guarantee against data loss and are not liable for any lost task data.

5. Data Privacy

Your task data is encrypted using TaskWarrior's built-in encryption before it reaches our servers. We cannot access or read your task content. We respect your privacy and do not require personal information beyond what is necessary for service operation.

6. Payment Terms

All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits are purchased using Bitcoin Lightning payments. The current rate is displayed on our pricing page and may be subject to change for future purchases.

7. Acceptable Use

Users must use the service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Any attempt to abuse, overload, or compromise the service may result in account termination without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskWarrior Sync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Any changes to terms will be broadcasted to our nostr account.
